Quilt For A Cause Design Competition

I made this quilt for my mom. It was the first quilt I've ever made with bras on it. As I was working on this it made me think about the cause that my mom works so hard toward through her charity Ranger Lady, Inc.  You can watch an incredible video about her story here.

Ranger Lady, Inc. is a non-profit devoted to serving forgotten, elderly or mentally ill residents in facilities. This organization helps provide personal dignity items, such as new white socks, underwear for men and women and bras to those residents without family.

In an effort to help Ranger Lady, Inc. continue to provide these much needed items my company Eva Blake’s Makery is proud to announce

Quilt for a Cause Design Contest. Submit your design for a wheelchair quilt using the guidelines below. 3 Winners will be chosen; one from each category/theme. If chosen, your quilt will be produced as a downloadable pattern. 100% of the proceeds from the sale of these quilt patterns will go to Ranger Lady, Inc. Designers and buyers of the quilt patterns will be sent a quilt label like the image above,  and encouraged to make their quilts and donate them to a local health care facility of their choice or ship directly to Ranger Lady, Inc for placement in a facility in their network.

Download the complete entry and submission guidelines and click here.

Also please help spread the word by linking to this post through all your social media and the Quilt for a Cause badge on the right.

Quilters have the biggest hearts, and we can't wait to see your designs and help us share the love.

Many Thanks!
